I used to be actually happy to find that Claire North had written a brand new title. All the pieces of hers I’ve learn up to now has been insightful, clever and vastly satisfying. Candy Concord is not any exception: although a shorter novella than her normal books, it packs a punch in its exploration of human nature via a barely dystopian setting within the close to future. If you have not but learn any of her work, begin with this as a brief introduction, then comply with up with considered one of her wonderful novels (I might recommend The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, or The Pursuit of William Abbey).
